I’m Kate (Chris’ wife).  I grew up in Cardiff and in the Valleys.

I went to Cardiff University as a mature student, having previously been a lab technician and a Dispensing Optician.

You’ll find me in the practice Wednesday to Friday, as well as every other Saturday.

I’m an Independent Prescriber and have a qualification in Medical Retina.

When I’m not here, I run the contact lens clinic at UHW (Heath Hospital).  I’ve also worked in the Special Assessment clinic at Cardiff University and the paediatrics clinic at UHW.

I love cooking (especially baking and making my own ice cream) and I like beating Chris at boardgames.
